  3. Fantastic Quality: Our duvets are filled with 100% long-fibre mulberry silk. Be aware that some silk duvets are filled with chopped-strand, short-fibre silk. This lower quality filling lessens the ability of the duvet to regulate your temperature. Our duvets are covered with a fine 300 thread count cotton sateen casing. We have found this to be the best casing for silk filled duvets. We do not offer silk duvets with silk casings. This is mainly because the cost of the silk to encase the silk filling would make the duvet prohibitively expensive. It is advisable to check the quality of the silk casing on any duvet before purchase. Inferior silk casings will not be as durable as cotton covered duvets and although may seem a bargain may not be a good long term investment.
